WORK RIGHTS AND STAY BACK

With a student resident permit, students can work part-time for 20 hours a week.
Students who have graduated from Slovak universities can apply for visa renewal with job-seeking as the purpose. The permit when allowed is usually for one to two years based on the job details and needs to be renewed once expired.
Following a work permit, International students can apply for permanent residence after a period of one to three years after graduation.
