There is a point-based immigration system prevailing.
The UK offers post-study work opportunities for international students through the Graduate Immigration Route, introduced in July 2021. Under this route, eligible graduates can stay in the UK and work at any skill level for up to 2 years (or 3 years for PhD graduates) after completing their studies.
If you haven’t found a job before completing your studies. You can stay in the UK for up to 6 months to secure a job or start a business. During this time, you can work full-time or part-time.
One can obtain a permanent residency in the country after five total years of employment.
